Carlos Quijano Scholarship
"Carlos Quijano" scholarship is for graduate studies in local and foreign higher education institutions. Candidates must fill in a scholarship application form which is available on the official website of the Ministry of Education and Culture https://www.gub.uy/ministerio-educacion-cultura/
Solidarity Fund
The Solidarity Fund is for financially weak Uruguayan pupils studying at the tertiary level Council of Technical Education, the University of the Republic (UDELAR), and Technological University (UTEC).
Age limit for scholarship
- 25 years for pupils admitted to higher education.
- 28 years for pupils who are already studying and applying for the scholarship for the first time
- 32 years for pupils who already have a scholarship and want to renew it.
Applying Ways and Means: Interested students must register online at the student portal for this scholarship. Fill in the registration form and submit. After registration, an email will be sent to your email id specifying about the date and place of interview for scholarship and necessary documentation to be submitted.
Julio Castro Scholarships
The Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay and the Solidarity Fund in May 2012 signed an agreement for the grant “Julio Castro”. This scholarship is for student teachers or students of education. You can get this scholarship from the teacher training institutes at the time of enrollment, and the Board of Education who is responsible for selecting the pupils.
